Brief about our parks

Nakshatra Van

This Nakshatra Van is unique in itself. As soon as one enters through the main gate, visitors are welcomed by a replica of a natural mushroom commonly found in the forests of Jharkhand. Apart from the Nakshatra Van, the premises also have the Rashi Van (Zodiac Garden), Navgraha Van (Navgraha Garden), Medicinal Plant Garden, Musical Fountain, Children's Play Area, Rose Garden, and an artificial waterfall flowing from a man-made hill. The site also includes the Raj Bhavan Lake, also known as Hataniya Lake, which stands witness to the festivals and celebrations of the local residents of Ranchi. The clear, serene waters of the lake naturally attract visitors.

Sido Kanhu Park

Sido Kanhu Park serves as a symbolic space of remembrance, especially for Jharkhand’s indigenous communities. It reflects their struggles for land, dignity, and self-rule, and offers a peaceful setting where citizens can reflect on their shared heritage. Here, history whispers through shaded pathways, lush gardens, and quiet corners where locals jog, meditate, or simply unwind. Vibrant flowers bloom beside walking trails, and the rustle of trees syncs with the quiet hum of the city—offering a rare harmony between nature and urban rhythm. To develop and maintain inclusive, vibrant, and sustainable parks that enhance community well-being, foster environmental stewardship, and provide enriching spaces for recreation, education, and connection with nature.
